Simone Weil. Tra riformismo e mistica del lavoro

Abstract

This essay, focusing on the theme of work, aims to demonstrate the continuity underpinning the two main phases of Simone Weil's thinking: the more properly political one and the mystical-philosophical one, following 1938, when the philosopher finally embraced Christianity. The theme of work, even if at first declined in a rational-reformist sense and then more and more in a mystical-impersonal way, analyzed in deep reveals the intrinsic coherence of Simone Weil's thinking, assuming the function of a place where the knots of her reflection emerge and recompose.
