Annika Richterich (PhD) is an assistant professor in Digital Culture at Maastricht University’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (NL). She studied sociology at University of Auckland (NZ) as well as media studies and economics at University of Siegen (GER). Her research has been published in international, peer reviewed journals such as Convergence and Information, Communication & Society. In early 2018, she published her open access book The Big Data Agenda: Data Ethics and Critical Data Studies with University of Westminster Press.
