Robert Fine is Emeritus Professor of Sociology at the University of Warwick. In the last couple of years he has co-authored a monograph on The Jewish Question (MUP, forthcoming 2016). He has co-edited special issues on ‘racism, antisemitism and Islamophobia’ for European Societies (turned into a Routledge book in 2015), ‘natural law and social theory’ for the Journal of Classical Sociology, and ‘Arendt’s On Revolution’ for the European Journal of Cultural and Political Sociology. He has also contributed to collections on Antisemitism and the Constitution of Sociology (Nebraska), Cosmopolitan Modernity (Ashgate), ‘Sociologia del Cosmopolitismo’ (Quaderni di Teoria Sociale), Race, Colour, Identity: ‘Jews’ in the 21st Century (Berghahn), Boundaries, Identity and Belonging in Modern Judaism (Routledge), ’Hauke Brunkhorst’s legal theory’ (Social and Legal Studies) and Critical Theory and the Challenge of Praxis (Ashgate) . He is working on a monograph revisiting from a critical theory point of view the work of Hannah Arendt.
