La narrazione mediale del mito ai tempi della pandemia: il medico eroe e la ristrutturazione simbolica dell'identitá collettiva

The pandemic that has involved the whole world and all States in an almost equal way, has given rise to a progressive diversification of the collective symbolic universes, in a varied toponomastic reconfiguration of actions and responses. Fluid forms of feeling and collective emotionality have come together and mingled in the mythical and imaginative figure of the hero who takes on himself all the weight of the world to be able to subsequently recreate a new order and a new reconfiguration, even social. In a short time the mythical figure of the hero-doctor has channeled all the expectations and concerns of an entire community, thus demonstrating that even in the contemporary age the structure of myth cannot cease to exist and that forms of devotional and affective anchorage are still present, modified only by historical events and narrative forms conveyed by the media. The narratives constructed and consumed as mythical stories through the transmedial circularity of the icons, have provided communities with real guides to the reassuring interpretation of the pandemic event.

La pandemia che ha coinvolto l'intero mondo e tutti gli Stati in maniera pressoché uguale, ha dato luogo ad una progressiva diversificazione degli universi simbolici collettivi, in una varia riconfigurazione toponomastica delle azioni e delle risposte. Forme fluide di sentire e di emotività collettiva si sono riunite e rimescolate nella figura mitica e immaginativa dell'eroe che su di sé prende tutto il peso del mondo per poter successivamente ricreare un nuovo ordine e una nuova riconfigurazione, anche sociale. In breve tempo la figura mitizzata dell'eroe-medico ha incanalato tutte le aspettative e preoccupazioni di un'intera collettività, dimostrando così che anche nell'età contemporanea la struttura del mito non può cessare di esistere e che forme di ancoraggio devozionali e affettive sono tutt'ora presenti, modificate solo dagli eventi storici e dalle forme narrative veicolate dai media. Le narrazioni costruite e consumate come storie mitiche attraverso la circolarità transmediale delle icone, hanno fornito alle comunità vere e proprie guide all'interpretazione rassicurante dell'evento pandemico
