Time truncated acceptance sampling plans for generalized inverted exponential distribution


Abstract


In this paper, acceptancesampling plans are developed based on truncated lifetimes when the life of anitem follows a generalized inverted exponential distribution. The minimum samplesizes required to assure a specified mean life time is done. The operatingcharacteristic function values of the sampling plans are obtained andproducer's risk is discussed. Tables of the ratio of the true mean life tospecified mean life that asserts acceptance with a pre-assigned probability arepresented.
