The fouling settled on asbestos placed in Acquatina lake has been studied for one year.Percentual index analysis of all organisms covering each panel and their specific diversity show that summer and autumn are the most favourable seasons to the settlement. Serpulida, Bryozoa, Amphipoda and Tanaidacea represent the dominant taxa over the whole association.

E' stato effettuato uno studio relativo all'insediamento delle comunità fouling su substrati artificiali immersi, per un anno, nello stagno salmastro di Acquatina. Dai risultati ottenuti è emerso che il periodo piu favorevole all'insediamento è quello estivo- autunnale, ed inoltre che i Policheti Serpulidi, i Briozoi, gli Anfipodi ed i Tanaidacei rappresentano i taxa che maggiormente hanno dominato l'associazione.
