Cosimo De Giorgi's pedagogical conception offers useful indications for seeking a solution to the problem of education in "post-modern society". The comparison with Bauman's theses on individual responsibility in the context of the "liquid society", with Morin's theories on teaching reform and with Benasayag's analysis of the contradiction between "existence" and "functionality", indicates possible paths to realize the authenticity and emancipation of the human being.

La concezione pedagogica di Cosimo De Giorgi offre indicazioni utili per cer-care una soluzione al problema dell'educazione nella "società post-moderna". Il confronto con le tesi di Bauman sulla responsabilità individuale nel contesto della "società liquida", con le teorie di Morin sulla riforma dell'insegnamento e con l'analisi di Benasayag sul-la contraddizione tra "esistenza" e "funzionalità", indica possibili percorsi per realizzare l'autenticità e l'emancipazione dell'essere umano.
