L'articolo esamina le relazioni del monastero di S. Caterina del Sinai con l'Occidente cristiano attraverso la testimonianza dei libri liturgici glagolitici prodotti verosimilmente nello scriptorium sinaitico. In particolare, si sofferma sul Liturgiarium Sinai sl. 5/N dell'XI che raccoglie la traduzione slava di testi liturgici bizantini, gerosolimitani e latini. Inoltre, viene identificata una preghiera latina per la festa di s. Caterina del Sinai, finora considerata una nota apposta da un pellegrino sul salterio bilingue Vaticano lat. 81.

The article examines the relations of the monastery of St. Catherine of Sinai with the Christian West through the evidence of the Glagolitic liturgical books probably produced in the Sinaitic scriptorium. In particular, it dwells on the Liturgiarium Sinai sl. 5/N of the 11th century, which collects the Slavic translations of Byzantine, Hierosolymitan and Latin liturgical texts. In addition, a Latin prayer for the feast of St. Catherine of Sinai is identified, hitherto considered a marginal note affixed by a pilgrim on the bilingual Psalter Vatican lat. 81.
