Il rimpianto: analisi del campo semantico

Lo scopo della ricerca è di analizzare il campo semantico del rimpianto e di ricostruirne l’orientamento affettivo. Attraverso la tecnica dell’associazione libera continuata è stata indagata la composizione del campo semantico, la cui struttura è stata successivamente analizzata attraverso la tecnica delle valutazioniappaiate. Inoltre, l’orientamento affettivo del campo è stato studiato mediante dodici scale di un differenziale semantico a sette punti costruito ad hoc. La ricerca è stata condotta in due fasi, alle quali hanno partecipato complessivamente 225 soggetti adulti. I dati sono stati trattati con analisi delle corrispondenze binarie. I risultati hanno posto in luce due aree distinte all’interno del campo semantico del rimpianto: quella degli errori e delle opportunità non colte, e quella della nostalgia del passato.

The paper aims to analyse the semantic field of regret and its affective orientation. The elements defining the semantic field were reconstruct by the free associations method, and the field structure was investigated using the paired evaluations technique. Furthermore, the affective orientation of the semantic field was analysed by means of twelve scales of a 7-points semantic differential. In the research, carried out in two phases, participated a total of 225 adults. Data were processed by analysis of binary correspondences. Results showed that there are two different sectors within the semantic field of regret: the first is the area of the error and of the missed opportunities, the latter is the area of the nostalgia for the past.

Le but de cette recherche est d’analyser le champ sémantique du regret et de reconstruire son orientation affective. La composition du champ sémantique a été repérée par la technique de l’association libre continuée. La structure du champ a été analysée par la technique de l’évaluation pairée. L’orientation affective du champ a été dégagée par 12 échelles d’un différenciateur sémantique à sept points. La recherche, à laquelle ont participé 225 sujets adultes, a été conduite en deux phases. Les données ont été soumises à ’analyse des correspondances binaires. Les résultats ont montré deux aires différentes à l’intérieur du champ sémantique du regret: l’aire des erreurs et des occasions perdues,et celle de la nostalgie du passé.
