Storie di vita, storia di un territorio

Abstract

This contribution presents the activities of the Istituto Centrale per il Patrimonio Immateriale at the School of History of Popular Traditions organized by Liquilab in Tricase, with particular attention to the archiving and valorization of oral memory and performative oral traditions, including poeti a braccio. The work illustrates the project for the collection and public restitution of local memories, through digital tools and immersive installations, and the volume Donne in Terra d'Otranto. Per un'antropologia delle voci, documenting women's experiences in southern Salento. The analysis highlights the role of voice and audiovisual documents in preserving and transmitting intangible cultural heritage, contributing to new ways of accessing and understanding collective memory.
